Saturday, July 18, 2020
The NYC Sheriff’s Office went full speed ahead and hit hard the crowds along Steinwey street in Astoria Queens throughout Saturday night into Sunday morning hours after last night’s thousands unruly patrons crowded the local in the streets.
About hundred officers from the Sheriff’s office were patrolling the streets, handing out free face masks, towing away double parked cars, checking out registration for unruly motorcyclists.
At 10PM, the Sheriff’s office served a court order to Briks Astoria at 32-16 Steinwey street after receiving numerous complaints from neighbors about their outdoor seating area.
